Drawing with thread
I'm really interested in the way a line drawn from life can describe the moment in time between the artist and subject. This new series explores the translation into craft, and the time it takes to fix a fleeting observation. I started with my recent New York sketchbooks, and tried to re-capture some (mainly food and drink!) moments.
